Some of our current and/or recent projects
Development advisory consultancy for the projects embarked upon by the French Cooperation - Social Developments Fund (FC-SDF) through the Embassy of France in Nigeria. The projects are mainly: community projects, women and children development projects, provision of water and sanitation facilities, enlightenment campaigns, publication of books and other literature.
Representative for Nigeria and West Africa in the distribution and project implementation on the cooperative project to provide at least 20,000,000 pages of essential sustainable development books on CD-ROMs to the people and institutions of developing nations at the lowest cost possible. The project is more of a charity as it aims at providing antidote to lack of knowledge, problem of not-up-to-date or obsolete texts in libraries of developing nations and inability to purchase books. Currently, the largest CD-ROM contains 1230 books.(2000) (Cooperating organizations: German Technical Cooperation(GTZ), Tulane University( USA), The United Nations University,Japan, MSF, SKAT, University of Waikato, New Zealand, FAO, Peace Corps, WFP)
Host organization to Global Water Partnership(GWP), Sweden in Nigeria through the administration of the Nigeria Water Partnership(GWP-Nigeria). Hosts and chairs GWP-West Africa Committee on ECOWAS, NEPAD, UEMUA, and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Member Organisation, Steering Committee GWP-West Africa
Provision and implementation of drinking water supply facility for six(6) public Primary Schools in Lagos, Nigeria through the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroot Projects (GGP). The Foundation facilitated this grassroots development project, 1999-2000.
Renovation of 10Nos classrooms of a public primary schhol in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria through the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroot Projects (GGP). The Foundation facilitated this grassroots development project, 2003-2004.
Fellow LEAD: An active participant in the two(2) years LEAD Associative Programme for Leadership in Environment and Development with assignments in Pakistan and Mexico. (2000-2002)
DFID Assisted Building and Social Housing Foundation(BSHF), London/Development Workshop, Lauzette, France Project. Study Visit to Woodless Construction Sites in the Sahel.
